Member Provincial Assembly Muhammad Fahim Khan was the chief guest on this occasion. Director Development, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Niamat Ullah Marwat, who played a key role in rehabilitation of Tehmas Khan Football Stadium, the venue for the Cup, was also present. Chief Organizer Shahid Khan and large number of spectators were also present and witnessed the thrill-packed match.
Having the services of all Pakistan team including star goal-keeper Jaffar Khan, who also remained skipper of the national team, Jungle Khail Kohat played very attacking game and did not give much room to their rivals to strike back.
It was in the sixth minute when left winger Rasool netted a fine goal through field attempt. Rasool made a combine attack with inners Ghazi and Amir and zoomed quickly toward the goal-post where he slammed in a superb goal to make the tally 1-0.
After 10-minute Rasool scored another goal to make the tally 2-0 and it was in the 22nd minute when Rasool scored his third goal including making a hat-trick. Jungle Khail Kohat was leading by 3-0 at half-time. DC Khyber Green also tried their hard to reduce the margin but they were failed due to man to man marking. At half-time Jungle Khail Kohat was leading by 3-0.
After leading 3-0, Jangal Khail Kohat put in more pressure and scored three more goals when center striker Mansoor scored three consecutive goals including the second hat-trick of the Cup. The front-line featuring Zia Ur Rehman, Azhar, Aamir and goal-keeper Jaffar played well for Jungle Khail Kohat.
It was in the dying moment when DC Khyber Green kept up pressure to reduce the margin but they were failed and thus Jangal Khail won the match by a tennis goal margin 6-0. Muhammad Amin, Ikram Khan, Abid, Zeeshan, Dilawar Khan supervised the match while Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah acted as match commissioner.
